Cleaning Technician (Portsmouth, NH area)

Job Description

Magna Cleaning is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Professional Cleaning Technicians.

Overview:

As a professional Cleaning Technician, you will be part of a team that professionally cleans homes and ensures they look neat and organized.

The residential cleaning technician is an expert at cleaning the large variety of soils and surfaces found in a typical home. The technician professionally cleans a client’s home and works to make the home look organized and well presented. She uses various chemicals, tools and equipment and follows specific techniques and workflows in performing her duties. Technicians generally work in teams of two or three under the direction and supervision of a team manager. 

 

• This is a day shift position (8.30am to 5pm); No nights
• Company provided vehicles, uniform and equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, wash, disinfect, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish surfaces using a variety of chemicals, tools and equipment as directed by team manager or mandated by company standards
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Follow all company adopted cleaning techniques and workflows
• Complete all assigned tasks within allocated time and in compliance with company quality standards
• Make home look organized and well presented by fluffing pillows, lining up chairs evenly around table, making sure wall pictures and frames hang straight, that magazines and decorative items are neatly arranged, that towels are hung neatly and uniformly, that toiletries are organized, etc.
• Change sheets and make beds
• Wash, dry and put away dishes
• Empty and take out trash
• Clean up pet accidents and other organic waste
• Stock and sort supplies
• Clean company tools and equipment and maintain them organized as directed
• Carry tools, equipment and supplies to worksite and ensure they are taken back to vehicle
• Drive company vehicle to worksite as assigned
• Record information on time sheet accurately and timely
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

Must be able to work with a variety of cleaning products and chemicals

Must not be afraid or allergic to domestic animals (cats, dogs, etc)

Must have physical mobility, agility and stamina

Must enjoy physical work and be able to lift and carry 50lbs

Must maintain a professional appearance

Must have a professional and positive attitude

Must be punctual and dependable

Must be detail-oriented

Must work well and effectively with others

Must be able to follow instructions

Must be able to accept constructive criticism

Must be able to work independently

Must have good time management skills

Must have good communication and organizational skills

Must agree to a criminal background check

Must have prior work references
